THE HOVE PRACTICE

We are Moving!

We are moving to a new location at 86 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2EB from the 4th November 2024

Gradient background with soft transition from purple to green.

At The Hove Practice, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals and families in the community.

That's why we decided it was time for a move so we could create a purpose-built Practice, owned by us and designed for advanced primary care. Our new, central location enables us to provide an improved, exceptional Practice experience for our patients. We will really miss our beautiful Wilbury Road location, as we know you will!

Our new Practice will offer state-of-the-art primary GP care, consultation and testing facilities, in a calm, homely environment in central Hove. We have also designed the building to be eco-friendly and energy efficient. Parking options are plentiful around the area and being on the main street, we hope you will pop in and see us when you are passing.  As part of our move, we also decided it was time for a refresh of our brand so you will also see a new logo, and look and feel, for The Hove Practice emerging in the coming weeks.

You don't need to do anything at all - we will let you know when your appointments will start taking place at 86 Church Road. Keep an eye on your booking confirmations in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions please take a look at the FAQs below where we have answered the main ones we think you might have. You can also see some pictures of our Practice coming together during the long months of building work we have been overseeing!

We are really excited to share our new facilities with you and look forward to welcoming you very soon.

Your Questions Answered

Please reach us at reception@thehovepractice.co.uk if you have any other questions.

Do I need to do anything?

No, you don't need to do anything. We will confirm when your appointments will take place at our new location via your booking confirmation.

Why are you moving?

We decided to move location so we could build a purpose-built Practice which was owned and managed by us. The new Practice is more centrally located in the heart of Hove and is designed for advanced primary care, offering luxury state-of-the-art healthcare. The new location has step-free access, better and easier park options, a beautiful waiting area and in the future will even have facilities for minor surgery. We will really miss our Wilbury Road location but we are excited to share our new Practice experience with you!

Will you be closed while you move?

No, we want to keep patient distruption to a minimum and so Practice business will continue as normal.

Is there parking at the new location?

Yes there are plenty of parking options around the new location, including on street pay and display options using the Pay By Phone app and a multi storey car park near by on Norton Road. There are no specific disabled parking bays available due to the location of the practice. Blue badge holders can park for free in Norton Road car park or in any shared use bay (marked as permit holders/pay parking) or in any pay-and-display parking bay. There are several of these areas available, notably on the road in front of the property and in Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue.

Do I have to re-register?

Home visits are available on request for new or existing patients. Price subject to travel and consultation time and subject to COVID-19 protocols. The prescription of medication required/requested during the consultation, and up to 2 items of correspondence with professionals/referrals, are included in the fee.

Is the new location wheelchair accessible and do you have disabled facilities?

Yes the new location is wheelchair friendly, has step-free access and has a disabled bathroom with baby change facilities.

Are your contact details the same?

Yes our contact details remain the same.
