Our Fees
We do our best to keep our fees as low as possible and in line with standard private healthcare charges. You’ll find a guide to our basic fees here.
Your overall treatment costs may vary depending on your individual needs, but we’ll always talk you through everything in advance, so there are no surprises.
Our fees are non-refundable and we charge for our time, including any administration or follow-up after your appointment. If we provide significant advice or care by phone or email, this may also be chargeable – but we’ll always let you know.
Private GP Appointments

Single Concern Consultation
£99
15 minutes for reviewing and potentially treating acute illnesses such as ear infections or tonsillitis. Single medical issue only. Fees include a prescription if required. However, further charges apply to any related referrals or correspondence following these appointments.
Standard Consultation
From £200
30 minutes as standard for adults and children, to ensure sufficient time for a complex medical issue or multiple minor ailments. The prescription of medication required/requested during the consultation, and up to 2 items of correspondence with professionals / referrals, are included in the fee.
Consultations with Dr Glew
From £210
Standard consultations or Telemedecine appointments with Dr Simon Glew are charged at £210. Executive medical appointments with Dr Glew are charged at £475.
Telemedicine
From £200
30 minute telephone or secure video consultation. The prescription of medication required/requested during the consultation, and up to 2 items of correspondence with professionals / referrals, are included in the fee. If it’s not possible to accurately assess or treat you remotely, we’ll discuss options regarding a face-to-face appointment with you on the call.
Home Visit
From £350
Home visits are available on request for new or existing patients. Prices subject to travel and consultation time and infection control / COVID-19 protocols, as applicable. The prescription of medication required / requested during the consultation, and up to 2 items of correspondence with professionals / referrals, are included in the fee.

Blood Tests
From £75
We use the country's largest independent laboratory The Doctors Laboratory ensuring the highest standards of precision, range and availability of tests. We can test for most conditions and all results are reviewed by your private GP. You will be provided you with a bespoke, written explanation of what they mean for you and your health, generally within 2 working days. Tests are charged in addition to consultation fees.
Diagnostics

As an independent private general practice, we’re not tied to any one provider. That means we can search the whole private healthcare market for you, to find the right balance of cost, convenience and quality. Scan and imaging prices are set by individual partners and may vary depending on what’s needed. Your GP will talk you through their recommendations and help you decide on the next steps that feel right for you.
Trucheck™ Cancer Screening
£1300
Trucheck™ Intelli is a simple blood test that can detect signs linked to over 70 types of solid organ cancers by identifying circulating tumour cells (CTCs) – often before symptoms appear. The fees for this service are payable directly to Trucheck™ Intelli and include your blood draw appointment, secure sample transportation to the laboratory, a written report of your results and a consultation with our partner’s clinical director.
Cervical Screening

Cervical smear test fees will vary based on your individual needs. Tests are charged in addition to standard consultation fees. Please refer to our dedicated page for further information regarding our cervical screening services.
Sexual Health Screening

Menopause Health

45 minute in-person symptom assessment. Includes health advice, prescription (if required), and a 15 minute face-to-face or video follow-up around 3 months later to review your progress. If a comprehensive blood panel is recommended during this consultation, the additional cost can be customized to your needs.
Cardiovascular Health

A cardiovascular health appointment goes beyond just cholesterol and weight. We start with an in-depth consultation to understand your lifestyle, risk factors and goals, then guide you through next steps – whether that’s lifestyle advice, nutrition support or advanced screening. We offer an extensive range of immunisations adhering to UK, American or European guidelines. For specialised requirements or new patients, a "Standard Consultation" is essential for an in-depth review of medical history and suitability. Taxi Driver Medicals

Film, TV and Music Medicals

40 minutes including the completion of your pre-submitted form. Fees may vary depending on length/complexity of form or work required outside of the appointment time. You will be advised before any additional costs are incurred. Please be aware payment of the fee does not guarantee medical approval / clearance for your vocation/event.
Executive Medicals
From £420
1 hour comprehensive review. Fees include extensive medical report, health advice, recommendations, prescription of medication and up to 2 items of correspondence with professionals / referrals. An appropriate, comprehensive blood panel recommended within this consultation [additional costs apply].
Additional Services

Prescriptions
From £30
For repeat medication prescriptions already prescribed for you at our Practice, or clearly discussed during a previous consultation (or recommended in writing to us by a GMC registered and UK practicing medical consultant). We will prescribe up to 3 months of medication at a time. To prescribe repeat medications, you will need to book a face-to-face consultation at least annually and - for certain medications - every 6 months.
Insurance Forms

Reports for insurance cost reclamation following a Private GP consultation.
Correspondence and Referrals
From £30 each
Referral letters/correspondence written immediately following a consultation are charged per letter. Please note referral letters/correspondence requested more than 7 days after a consultation are charged at £75 per letter.
Translator Services
£80
Within our consultations we offer up to 30 minutes access to telephone translator services via Languageline Solutions [if required]. For those with hearing difficulties, this service can be used as a video call for BSL.
Shotgun and Firearms Licence Applications or Renew
From £200
Renewal applications require a recent assessment with your Private GP, an up-to-date print out of your NHS record/medical history and may necessitate a telephone/video call from your Private GP. Payment does not guarantee approval of the renewal. Your NHS GP will be informed once we have completed the renewal/application.
Insurance Applications
From £200
Reports for private medical insurance applications. These are generally paid for by insurance firms as opposed to individuals.
Important Information
Appointments Bookings
All appointments are secured via advanced payment and are non-refundable, as we charge for our time as well as any administration and correspondence in connection with your appointment.
Credit on Account
We can hold credit on account to streamline phone bookings, or bookings for family members / colleagues. Please contact us to arrange this.
Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions should be requested online. Bookings are for an approximate time and requests may not be completed until the end of the day depending on workload. Please ensure medication is requested a week in advance of running out to avoid any problems. Some requests may require an appointment before issue.
Cancellations and Refunds
Full refunds - with the exception of a £5 administration fee - are provided if cancellation is made more than 24 hours in advance of the booked appointment. Please refer to our Book an Appointment page for further details on our policy on cancellations and refunds.
